I’m sitting just inside the open garage door on our first “official” open weekend. It’s Friday evening and today’s rains have washed away the debilitating heat and humidity of the past few days.
What an an amazing place this is. One part neighborhood coffee shop, one part destination for true coffee lovers. Milk that’s steamed perfectly and aerated to produce true microfoam. This is the only way we can pour the latte art that shows up only when every part of the barista’s craft is done perfectly. The classic cappuccino I’m having now could have come straight from Vivace in Seattle’s Capital Hill. Don’t need a desert right now - I can taste the chocolate in our Northern Italian style espresso.
The shop took a little over two months to build. It’s brand new but comfortably feels like it’s been here forever. The staff is awesome and the customers aren’t new customers, they’re already regulars.
It’s a great night in Rocky River.
